Our mattress encasements are designed for the treatment and prevention of bed bug infestations of the mattress. This means that bed bugs are not able to bite through, enter or exit the encasement once applied to the mattress. Bed Bug Treatment: If your mattress is already infested with bed bugs our premium bed bug encasements can be used effectively as a non-chemical treatment. Simply apply a Luna premium bed bug mattress encasement to the infested mattress. This completely seals off the mattress preventing bed bugs from entering or exiting the mattress. Without a blood source, the bed bugs in your mattress will eventually die. After a safe period of time has past you may remove the mattress encasement and vacuum the dead bed bugs away. Our hypoallergenic bed bug encasements are a safe alternative to using pesticides to treat an infected mattress (please see our Bed Bug information section).

Our mattress encasements work by using an exclusive hypoallergenic cotton terry toweling bonded with a waterproof polyurethane membrane layer. To enable the mattress to still breathe, Luna utilizes an exclusive Airflow Technology made up of proprietary microscopic pores in the polyurethane membrane layer. These pores allow air to pass through while preventing liquids from penetrating. The ability of our mattress encasements to breathe prevents heat buildup, which often leads to sweating. A bed bug mattress encasement differs from a mattress protector in that the mattress is completely sealed off top to bottom with a zippered side and footer. Great product

First of all, the shipping was amazing. I expected there to be the typical pick up problems when ordering offline, but the package was quicker than i expected and arrived complete. Right away I could tell the products quality was great. Durable and pliable, quiet with sturdy zippers. I've been using the protector for about a week and I've got no complaints at all. Great Product

We just received our mattress and box spring encasements and are very happy that we are able to have a hypoallergenic barrier around our set. My husband has allergies so our doctor offered this suggestion. The quality is great and both my husband and I strongly recommend.
